As you might have read in our about us section, I (Carina) have a background in ski racing – which means I’ve spent plenty of time skiing all over European slopes. Sure, Europe has amazing ski resorts, however, there is no better place for me than the one I grew up in!

I’m delighted to offer you valuable tips and tricks and, of course, show you my home 🙂

And what’s a Tyrolean holiday without some good food & après-ski? Can’t have one without the other. We’ll try some mountain cuisine, have a couple of drinks with a view and most importantly – hit the sauna and unwind after a very exciting day.

Tour Plan

Day 1 – Welcome to Kitzbühel!

Herzlich willkommen! I am more than excited to show you around and ski my home!

Hotel Check-in starts from 15:00 o’clock onwards. Please make sure to arrive latest by 19:00 PM so we can enjoy a welcome dinner at the Hotel’s restaurant at 19:30.

NOTE: Since we are working with nature, the following trip plans might change depending on what the weather does.

Day 2

Let’s get ready for our first skiing day!

You will have a 4-Day Ski pass, so make sure to work your legs out a bit before the trip 😉

Since we are still fresh on the first day, let’s use the good slopes straight away in the morning and make our way all the way to the province of Salzburg!

Yup, you’ve read it correctly – You can start in Kitzbühel and ski all the way to the next province. Skiing this far, you will definitely get some views to remember!

Day 3

On our second day, we will probably hop onto the Kitzbühel / Kirchberg area.

For lunch, you will have the chance to eat in one of Kitzbühel’s most known restaurants called “Sonnbühel”. Reservations have to be done weeks ahead but you have got yours 🙂

Focused on Italian and local cuisine, it’s the perfect place for a pit stop! Your first welcome drink here is on us 😉

Last but not least, I should definitely also mention the view from their terrace. Pretty sure you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Day 4

Early birds get the fresh slopes! Today we will ski together until lunchtime, and then you will have a free afternoon to do as you please!

Maybe your legs are a bit tired, and you prefer heading down to the hotel’s sauna for some relaxation, or you want to make the most of the ski time and stay for a couple of hours longer – Your choice 🙂

Let us meet in the evening again and enjoy some Fondue together. You can choose between meat or cheese fondue – just let us know which beforehand! (included in the price).

Day 5

Our final skiing day! Half the day is planned, but you decide how long you stay up there. In the afternoon around 5ish we will meet in the city to go for a final stroll around the old town. Ending up in another traditional Austrian restaurant where we will celebrate our week together!

After food, feel free to dance until the morning hours! I will give you a couple of local party tips!

Make sure not to oversleep on your departure tomorrow 😉

Day 6

Time to say goodbye! We hope that you have had a great time, enjoyed skiing and made some new connections.

See you on our next trip! 🙂

Location

You will sleep in the beautiful, vintage-looking hotel of two local brothers. Family-like atmosphere and only 5 car minutes away from the slopes.

Discover Kitzbühel: Your Ultimate Winter Destination

Nestled in the Austrian Alps, Kitzbühel is a premier destination for winter sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Renowned for its picturesque landscapes and charming old town, Kitzbühel seamlessly blends traditional alpine culture with world-class amenities.

Skiing in Kitzbühel

Kitzbühel is famous for its diverse ski terrain and breathtaking mountain views. With over 230 kilometers of meticulously groomed slopes, it caters to all skill levels, from beginners to pros. Skiing enthusiasts might know the iconic Hahnenkamm downhill race, one of the most challenging ski competitions on the World Cup circuit. This race week draws thrill-seekers and spectators from around the globe.

Beyond the Slopes

While skiing is the star attraction, Kitzbühel offers much more. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its historic streets, lined with boutique shops, gourmet restaurants, and cozy cafés. Kitzbühel is known for its luxury, but traditional at the same time. There you’ll have the fanciest spots or a good old mountain hut – whichever you prefer.

Your Accommodation: Hotel Seebichl

We have chosen the small hotel Seebichl, located next to the famous Schwarzsee lake. Carina used to work there and would always return due to its comfy, family-like atmosphere and the very welcoming owners, the Witzmann-brothers. Their love for vintage is reflected on the furniture and interior design, their immersion in tradition on the local and regional cuisine that will simply amaze you!

Within 20 minutes by foot, you will reach the city center and only 5 minutes away by car you will already sit inside the gondola up the hill.

If you don’t feel like sharing the room with another traveler (single beds), please let us know in advance, so we can organize it and adapt the price.
